Pre-Credential Track

All credential programs at CSUF are completed through the College of Education.

If you're interested in teaching history, the Department of History participates in the Single Subject Matter Preparation Program in Social Sciences (SSMP), approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Completing this program demonstrates your subject matter competency in History, a key requirement for earning a California Single Subject Credential.
