The Department of History is pleased to offer career resources, webinars, and event recordings from three programs across campus:

The Finish Line Series

Department Career Webinars are created and hosted by current CSUF history faculty and contain overviews, examples, and alumni testimonies on the many career paths history students can pursue post-gradaution.

Project UpGrads is a campus-wide program that has partnered with current history faculty to dicuss the unique advantages of a degree in the humanities and specific tools and tricks to suceed in your industry of choice with this degree.

Finally, the Finishline Series is a series of interviews with current faculty and alumni in a variety of fields speaking on their teaching or learning experienc at CSUF and how their careers have been shaped by their history degree.

Deparment career webinars are formatted as a survey including a timer for the purpose of graduate student professional development records. This survey form is only required for History MA students utilizing department career webinars to fulfill their professional development requirement, and graduate students may not use Finish Line or UpGrads workshops toward this requirement.
